My New Cloffice / Content + Beauty Room featuring IKEA Pax

I brought in the new year in a new space in my home. Welcome to my cozy corner of creativity and productivity. I decided to transform a sitting area, that was once my son's nursery room, into a multifunctional haven I affectionately call my "cloffice" – a delightful blend of closet, office, beauty nook, and bright, white content space. In this blog post, I invite you to take a virtual stroll through my personalized retreat, where fashion meets function in the most aesthetically pleasing way.

My Cloffice

I changed this space completely. Contractors built a wall to separate the sitting area from the bedroom, but I ripped the carpet up, applied hardwood flooring, and put together all the pieces of my cloffice furniture to style my room, my way.

As you enter my space, the first conversation piece you will see is a ladder style bookshelf. I chose black as a contrast color to all the white that was in my room.

My IKEA Pax Closet

The foundation of my cloffice is, of course, my closet. No longer just a space for clothes, it's now a carefully curated showcase for my favorite pieces. From stylish shelving to dedicated racks, every item has its place, creating an organized oasis that sparks joy. Discovering a perfectly paired outfit has never been easier, thanks to glass drawers, my closet valet hook and remote controlled lighting. I used the IKEA Pax System to build out my closet space. I designed it online, and had it all shipped to my home. My lighting, perfume shelves, and shoe and handbag stands are all available for purchase in my Amazon Storefront.

Right in front of my closet space sits a boucle bench that serves as a get ready with me piece.

My Desk + Vanity

To the right of my closet is my dedicated workspace. I have a compact desk, along with an acrylic dry erase board (customized with my logo, by me). With my comfortable sling chair and ample lighting, this nook is where I create content, design websites, and bring all of my creative ideas to life. I have more of this to see on TikTok.

In addition to working here, this desk also serves as my vanity. After getting dressed, I can easily apply my makeup to get ready for a day or night out. I have organized my beauty products neatly in the drawer of my desk. My cloffice is not just where I work; it's where I find time to look beautiful amidst the hustle.

My Content Corner

Equipped with quality lighting and a tripod-ready setup, a designated corner of my cloffice is devoted to content creation. Whether it's filming for my YouTube or TikTok, or sharing snippets of my daily life on Instagram, this space effortlessly transitions from a workspace to a creative studio. I have a full sized arched mirror and a white space for a clean background to take pictures and record footage.

My Gallery Wall

Creating my gallery wall was an art form in itself. It began with a vision, a collection of abstract photos that are black, white and nude. From luxury artwork to Drake's album cover, each piece was purchased online and printed locally. I purchased frames from Ikea and Michael's. In the middle of the artwork is my TV. Yep, that's right... it's not a frame, but a TV! Samsung has a TV called "The Frame" that mounts so flat to the wall, it looks like a framed picture. My favorite part about my gallery wall is uploading my own artwork. 99% of the time it's a photo displayed of me!

My cloffice has easily become my favorite room in my home, beautifully balancing my demands of work, style, and personal care. The seamless integration of these so many uses of this room not only maximizes the functionality of a limited space but also elevates the daily rituals that shape my life.
