My 3-Step Process for Applying Press-On Nails

1. Prep: The key to making your press-on nails last is all in the prep. Start by filing your natural nails until they feel gritty. This helps the press-ons adhere better. Next, apply a nail dehydrator to remove any oils from your nails, followed by a primer to help the glue stick even better.

2. Apply: Now for the fun part! Apply a small amount of nail glue to both your natural nail and the press-on. Carefully place the press-on nail on your natural nail at a 45 degree angle, making sure it’s aligned correctly. Angle is key to eliminate air bubbles. Press down firmly for 15 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

3. Finish: To give your nails that extra durability and a polished look, paint them with a builder gel and finish with a top coat. Cure your nails under a UV gel light to set everything in place. It’s that easy!
